Charity Auction

This year in association with the Thames Valley Air Ambulance we shall be auctioning a Barn Find Ford Cortina.

Donated to the Air Ambulance, this 1982 Ford Cortina Mk5 1.6L has been rescued from a domestic garage in the High Wycombe area. The car has was last taxed in 1997 and to best of our knowledge has not been driven since. Rust proofed early in it's life, the car is in remarkable condition. The only visible rust is the common issue around the front scuttle panel. The sills, valence and arches are perfect. As you can see from the pictures, the interior is in time warp condition, the only fault we can find is a very, very  small burn on drivers seat cushion. The car has covered 61,605 miles.

Now however, the Cortina has been brought back to life. The car is now running and is being fitted with new tyres, battery, exhaust system, brake calipers, discs and rear wheel cylinders. Plus it has had a full service, so it will soon be fully roadworthy with a fresh MOT.

We would like to thanks Coles and Blackwell in Walters Ash for very generously helping to bring "Tina" back to life.

Burton Power products have been fantastic, donating the much needed parts and Planet Wheels, also in Walters Ash have refurbished the wheels.
